授業概要・カリキュラム上の位置づけ *the content of this class will follow "Basic English for Art and Design".

In this class, you will learn a basic English grammar and the skills of presentation in English through art and design.

It consists of following 2 sections;
Section 1: the participants will be introduced to basic English grammar as one of the system design. The ability to understand and use proper grammar is very useful for the Geibun students.
Section 2: each participant will be required to make 2 short presentations about what she/he is interested in relating to art and design and discuss about it with other students.  
到達目標 1. to obtain proper knowledge of basic English grammar
2. to obtain basic skills of making presentations in English
3. to obtain basic knowledge of historical and contemporary art and design in English  
授業計画・課題に対するフィードバック Week 1 Introduction
Week 2-4 learning basic English grammar
Week 5-14 making presentations and discussion in English
Week 15 general overview  
履修上の留意点 This class is for those who would like to be familier with English so it is not at all necessary to be good at English.
Participants are required positively to involve in the activities and to try to use English in their daily life.
The students who finish this class are recommended to attend "Museum Study & English Communication" of KIKUCHI Hiroko sensei.  
準備学習内容・時間の目安 1. Review a English Grammer textbook you used in high school
2. Preparation for a short self-introduction in English

 
成績評価の方法 The students need to attend more than 2/3 classes to be estimated.
The students will be estimated by presentations and participation to the class.
